Advertising on Industry Related Investor Websites

Some of the good places to advertise for buyers could be on real estate investor websites related to real estate industry, but not direct competitors.

You can't count on realtors letting you advertise on their site, but some of the apartment locators, or moving companies, etc., might be willing to let you place your ad on their site.

Sometimes you can just trade the ads with the non-competitor. You may choose to create a "local resources" page on your web site and put that company's ad on the "resources" page. In exchange they'll do the same with your ad. Click Here for an example of such link exchange. See "FinancedHomes.com" ad on the right and a banner down at the bottom of the page?

Sometimes, the arrangement for an ad like that is based on the cost-per-visitor, or "cost-per-click".

For instance, you may agree to pay 25 cents for every visitor this site will send you.

Then you'll have to know how many of these clicks you got from that place so you can keep your accounting with them in order.

Tracking Your Online Advertising Dollars

A lot of places that take pay-per-click advertising will offer you the stats on the number of clicks your ad generated. If they're reputable, you can usually trust them.

What about places that you can't trust, or those that don't offer you a reliable count of the number of clicks/visitors you get from them?

Then you have to consider getting your own tracking tool to give you this information.

Wherever you place your ads online - remember to always count the number of visitors you get from the ad.
